This document describes and specifies the IRS measurement system for lifetime-testers, based on National Instruments’ Single-Board-RIO.
The measurement system includes analog voltage measurement modules, digital output and relay modules, CAN and serial communication modules. The purpose of the measurement system is the application in lifetime testers, especially for automotive control units.
In the following chapters the hardware of the measurement system is described both in general and for every functional module respectively. Additionally the software architecture and the API for accessing the hardware are explained.
