Since 2017, we have been partners of the Pledge 1% Community and are committed to strengthening the regional area through diverse engagement in cultural and social projects.
If one translates the quote "The human being does not live by bread alone!" to the business sector, it would probably read, "A company does not live by profit alone." For this reason, we donate at least 1% of our profit to charitable causes each year.
Every employee is free to use a certain part of their working hours for charitable purposes. Last year, we contributed several hundred working hours to local communities in this way.

The outdoor facilities were designed at both locations with respect to biodiversity. In Brennberg, the buildings were integrated into the existing forest area. In Wörth a. d. Donau, a variety of trees and shrubs were planted. This provides not only in the rural area a view of greenery from nearly every room but also in the industrial park.
Our efforts were honored both in Brennberg and in the Wörth-Wiesent industrial park with the "Blühender Betrieb" (="Blooming Business") award from the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.
Wörth-Wiesent building
The new construction of the building in Wörth-Wiesent placed a strong emphasis on sustainability. The building complex consists of a steel-wood construction, and the massive wooden ceilings and walls are still visible inside the production hall. The facade cladding of the production hall, the walls, and the roof of the carport were created with PV modules.
